Christmas Eve

I am so excited that I have finally made it to Christmas!! This is Christmas Eve...Wylie, Ashley, and Aunt Teal are all just hanging out...

I love this picture...
Now, we are in the kitchen baking cookies for Santa...
Wylie is showing Ashley his display of Santa's cookies...after they have both samples some to make sure they were good enough to leave out for Santa...

Santa at John Deere

We took Wylie and Ashley to the John Deere store in Athens to see Santa. If you haven't been (which I am assuming you haven't), you definitely need to go next year. He was the best Santa!
First, here are some pics of my little fireman...
If you will look to the left of Wylie, you will see the scissors he used to create his special haircut...and after this picture, I gave him a haircut.
And here is my little candy cane...
Now, we are in the van headed to see Santa at John Deere. Ashley wanted all three of her baby dolls to snuggle with her in her car seat...it looks like pink baby doll is saying hello to everyone...
Wylie and Ashley were very excited about getting on all the tractors, not Santa's lap.
But, Santa fooled Ashley...
And, he fooled Wylie too. Here is Wylie telling Santa how to hook up the trailer to this toy tractor...
Santa is listening to all of Wylie's wishes...
They had a really good time...

On the way back to the van, Wylie wanted to slide down the John Deere slide...notice his new haircut, although it is probably to far away to tell here...
It was really hard to tear him away from all the tractors...

GA Aquarium

Teal came in town on December 20th for Christmas, so after I picked her up from the airport, we took the kids to the Aquarium...
Since it was lunch time, we started off heading to get some food in the Aquarium, but Wylie and Ashley wanted to sit on the sea horse...
After lunch, we headed to the first exhibit...they loved getting right up to the glass so they could see and "touch" the fish...
Wylie thought the sea lions were really cool...he liked how they would swim right by him...
Wylie took this picture...
Look out...the hammerhead shark is coming!!
Ashley loved the jellyfish...
It was hard to tear her away from the glass.

It looks like Aunt Teal is petting the turtle...
Ashley wasn't too sure about those fish...
Okay, check out Wylie's hair...do you notice how something is missing in the front? He decided to give himself a haircut with his kid scissors...I just didn't have time to cut his hair before we went to pick up Aunt Teal, so he was sporting this cut for a day...
As you can see, Wylie and Ashley both wanted this spot...
I think Wylie won...

Bauer Christmas, Cont'd

Day Two of the Bauer Christmas 2007...we started out with breakfast, and then a hayride...here are Beth and O'neal...
And, Josh and Trey...Lesley and Megan...
Olivia and Colin...
Shannon and Tyler...
Mommy, Wylie, and Ashley...
Driver Jamie...
When we got back to Jamie and Allison's house, Mr. Clown was waiting for us...
He was great! He made fun things out of balloons...I hadn't seen anyone do that in a long time, and he was very good...
Ashley awaiting her pink flower...
Wylie thought that flower was pretty neat...
Wylie decided on a sword...look out Uncle Jamie...
En guarde...
The boys sure had fun with those swords...not that it's any surprise!
Mr. Clown also did face painting...
For some reason, I don't have any pics of the middle of the day. Later that night, we had an evening of Bunco and other fun activities...
