Soccer Practice

Wylie had soccer practice again today. He goes every Tuesday and Thursday evening. Tonight, they got their uniforms...Wylie is #6. He was so excited he put his jersey on right then. Wylie's team is called The Surge. They have their first game this Saturday...I have a feeling it may get rained out from the after effects of Hurricane Hanna. We'll see! They have their team photos on Saturday morning, so if they don't get to play, they will at least get their pictures taken in their uniforms.

Here are some photos of Wylie in soccer practice, doing all their drills and getting better at controlling the ball. This is a shot of Wylie practicing with his team. Wylie's coach, Coach Carmen, is right behind them in the white shirt. The man in the blue shirt is the other coach, also one of the player's Dad.

When we got home from practice, Wylie wanted to surprise Daddy and show him his new soccer uniform. He went into John's office, where John was on the computer, and said, "Champion soccer player in the house." It was so cute...Wylie was so proud!!
