Wylie's Christmas Program
Wylie had his school Christmas program on December 11, 2007...he was so adorable! They say a lot of songs...I was surprised they could memorize them all, and act them out. Here are a few pics. Jamie took video of the whole thing...if I can figure out how to put a snipet from the video on here, I will do it. By the way, Wylie is the fourth from the left.
I was so proud of Wylie, he acted every thing out and sang all the words!
Oh Christmas Tree!
This year, we decided to go back to the tree farm, since we knew the kids would love it. After much searching, we finally found a tree that was pretty decent...I called it our Charlie Brown tree. The poor Christmas trees did not look very pretty this year from the drought. When we first got there, John asked, "So now what?" To which I replied, "Get me to the nearest Home Depot and we will just get a Frazier fur." But since we had the kids with us, I wanted them to have this fun experience, so we went with the Charlie Brown tree (It wasn't really a true Charlie Brown tree, but you could see through it and out the window once it was in the house)...
Timber!!...
LSU - SEC Champs!!
What a wonderful day...December 1, 2007...LSU became the SEC Champs! I have to brag now because next year it will probably be UGA. They seem to alternate years for winning the title, which works in our household, since we are divided.

Baby Dolls
Ashley LOVES her baby dolls...she is obsessed! She has about 15-18 now, and I have not bought her a single one, if you can believe that...I think they must have multiplied. Anyway, one day we were downstairs and Ashley disappeared, which she often does now that she just roams freely through the house, and I found her upstairs in her and Wylie's bathroom. She said, "Baby needs to go potty."

Santa at Mall of Louisiana
When we went to Baton Rouge for Thanksgiving, Teal and I took Wylie and Ashley to the mall to see Santa. They had a really cute setup where you write your wish list to Santa, then you drop it in the mail drop that goes directly to the North Pole, so when you open the door to the mail drop, snow comes out.

Next, you go to the naughty and nice meter to see if you have been naughty or nice that year, which Wylie and Ashley passed with flying colors. :)

Lastly, you get to take your picture with Santa...there were so many cute pics I had to put multiples on the blog (and yes, I actually narrowed it down, there were more). :) You may notice that Ashley is not in any of the pics with Santa....once we got closer to him, she dug her claws into Teal and wouldn't let go...I don't think she was very eager to sit on his lap.

Monkey Biz
While in Baton Rouge, Mom, Teal, and I took the kids to a place called Monkey Biz. It had a huge play structure, which the kids loved...plus you could put quarters in the ride-ons or play skee ball and other games. We had a good time, and it gave Wylie and Ashley a chance to burn off some steam.
Ashley and Mommy in the ball pit...

Wylie, Ashley, and Mommy going down the roller slide....OUCH! This is not very comfortable for adults...better than the one at Washington Farms, though, Nick. :)
Wylie and Ashley couldn't get enough of it...
I think the ball pit was their favorite, though...
Wylie gives the helicopter a thumbs up...
Gotta play skee ball!
Ashley did a great job of rolling the ball up the lane, just not quite hard enough...

Wylie's tractor...Wylie was hilarious because after we had been there a while, he discovered this tractor, and then would not get off of it because he loved it and didn't want anyone else to ride it. He even brought his lunch over to the tractor and sat right in front of it to make sure no one else would get on it.
